«Heavy Lift Black Sea» (Abrau Durso) |
We are pleased to announce the first international conference «Heavy Lift Black Sea», to be held on May, 11, 2011, Congress-center ABRAU DURSO.
1st International conference «Heavy Lift Black Sea» |
Black Sea region has been handling more and more heavy and out of gauge cargoes. Mostly this is explained by preparation for the Winter Olympics in Sochi (2014), construction of wind generating capacities in Ukraine, building of new power stations in Russia, Turkey and Bulgaria, as well as implementation of various significant pipeline, oil and gas projects.
Moreover, heavy transportation in Black Sea is rather chaotic; it faces a number of bureaucratic, transport and other problems. It is worth mentioning insufficient awareness of services rendered by local companies and ports.
The conference is aimed at finding better solutions for heavy transportation in Black Sea region and developing communication between transport and logistics companies.
You are welcome to discuss the following key issues:
- Economic and infrastructure background of heavy-lift cargo shipment in Black Sea region: intermodal strategy;
- How to develop competition in the region?
- Using of inland waterways for attracting transit flows of heavy transport towards Caspian Sea.
We have invited the leading energy, oil and gas, machine building, chemical and engineering companies of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and EU to our event.
