Container turnover of Russian ports by the end of 2016 made 3.99 million TEUs, which is 1.4% more than in 2015. The growth rate of container turnover has increased by the end of the year. So, in January - October the growth of container turnover was 0,2%, in January - November - 1% and for the year - 1,4%. The decline of containers' transshipment was noted in the previous periods of 2016 in comparison with 2015. The terminals of the North-Western and southern basins has shown the growth. The Far East shows the decline of the container turnover two years consecutively.

During the conference we will discuss the prospects and constraining factors of the Russian container transportation market development, technical issues and the status of legal base.
